The fundamental purpose for this position is to perform service and support for our rotary table product line. This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager - RT. This position will be responsible for performing installation, evaluation, repairs, and customization of various products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform service on precision rotary unit consisting of housing, gear, bearing and seals
- Troubleshoot rotary unit by disassembling and investigating extent of damage
- Assemble components of BOM such as motor, wiring and covers as needed
- Using test equipment to verify product is within specifications
- Travel to customer locations on occasion
- Report evaluations and service performed
- Precision gauging and tools.
- Reading assembly drawings or ISO-based drawings
- Assembly of precision-driven componentry
- Soldering of cables
- Able to read BOM (bill of materials) and follow a step-by-step process
- Basic PC/Email basic functions
- Background in mechanical repair or assembly
- Efficiently handle a diverse set of tasks. Repairs and evaluations are very time sensitive. Must be able to prioritize and remain flexible at all times.
- Using precision measuring tools and calibration equipment
The salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $65,000. Pay may vary based on individual knowledge, skills, expertise, and regional factors. We believe in pay transparency and are committed to offering competitive compensation based on your qualifications and the market value for the role.
