Basepay range
$19.50/hr - $19.50/hr
Job Details- Position Type:
Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) - Pay Rate: $19.50/hour + $2.50/hour shift differential
- Location:
Mundelein, Illinois (Onsite) - Shift
Hours:
2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Second Shift, Monday–Friday) - Training will take place on First Shift for approximately 4–6 weeks (4:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Run screw machines and related equipment in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner.
- Inspect parts as they’re made to ensure they meet quality and size standards.
- Make basic adjustments and troubleshoot issues to keep machines running.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check part accuracy.
- Follow blueprints and work instructions (we’ll train you).
- Assist with setting up machines when needed.
- Complete simple paperwork to track production and quality.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Pitch in with other tasks to help your team meet goals.
- Comfortable working with machines and tools
- Able to read instructions and follow directions
- Good with numbers and measurements
- Focused on doing the job right the first time
- Familiar with precision tools (or willing to learn)
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
No prior machine operation experience required – we’ll train you. - Willingness to follow directions and ask questions when unsure
- Must pass a blueprint reading test and a mechanical aptitude test
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Required to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending and stooping required.
- Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments.
