Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant
The Accountant, Senior Corporate is critical in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting key financial reporting and analysis initiatives. The Senior Corporate Accountant collaborates with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements, enhance controls, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing insights to management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, helping to align business objectives with financial resources.
- Coordinate and oversee audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Research and implement new accounting standards and offer guidance on complex transactions.
- Mentor and assist junior accounting team members to enhance the department's knowledge and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor's - Experience:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certifications:
CPA or another related certification.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
