Clerk – Temporary Year-End W-9 Mailing Support

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Clerk to assist with year-end W-9 mailing preparation. This role involves organizing, preparing, and mailing confidential tax documents in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Document Preparation: Organize and verify W-9 forms for accuracy prior to mailing.
• Printing & Sorting: Print W-9 forms and sort them by recipient or department.
• Envelope Stuffing: Insert W-9 forms into envelopes, ensuring correct matching of documents and addresses.
• Sealing & Labeling: Seal envelopes securely and apply correct mailing labels.
• Postage & Mailing: Prepare envelopes for bulk mailing, including affixing postage.
• Quality Assurance: Double-check all envelopes for completeness and accuracy.
• Deadline Compliance: Ensure all mailings are completed by the designated year-end deadline.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive tax information securely and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment (printer, postage meter).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
