• Must be an approved local State CDL Examiner
• Hold a safe CDL A driving record according to SAGE Safety Department standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe truck driving principles and all laws and regulations for interstate tractor‑trailer operations

• SAGE Third Party CDL Examiners must possess knowledge, skill, and performance abilities exceeding those identified in the position objectives.

CDL Examiners must meet the minimum qualifications for interstate tractor‑trailer drivers in accordance with all requirements of the applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including Part 391 physical and driver qualification standards, and must pass a D.O.T. drug/alcohol screen.
