This is a full-time on-site role located in Muncie, IN. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems. Specific duties include studying blueprints, cutting and threading pipes, welding and installing pipes, and ensuring the functionality and safety of piping systems. The role may involve working with steam systems and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Pipe and Pipe fitting
- Experience with Welding, including TIG Welding techniques
- Knowledge of Steam systems and their operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in welding or pipe fitting are a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varying conditions and environments
