About this opportunityBall State University Facilities Planning and Management has an opportunity to work on the beautiful campus. Schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 3:30pm-Midnight

What you'll do and what you'll bringPosition Function:
Under supervision, perform duties related to carpentry complying with appropriate regulations and codes.
May require any or all of the above-mentioned abilities.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship program in Carpentry as approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training or four (4) years of verified proof of Carpentry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable job knowledge can be acquired as determined by Ball State University.
- Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies and procedures, communications, and perform mathematical calculations.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
- Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Vocational school training.
- Two years’ experience in commercial and/or institutional door hardware, fixtures, and equipment.
- Experience in cabinetry, mill work, and furniture assembly.
