Part and Full‑time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. This position is referral eligible.

Ball Memorial’s adult oncology progressive care unit is a 25‑bed unit specialising in hospice/end‑of‑life care, cancer patients, patients with COPD, and those with weakness due to acute disease. It is a Team Based Acuity Adaptable Model (TBAAM) unit that rounds daily with an interdisciplinary team.

- Support Staff – Clinical Advisor coming in 2024
- Hospice Office on unit
- Unit staff comprised of traditional IU Health employees, long‑term domestic travelers, and international nurses
- Associate of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Exception:
Candidates not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). - Active Registered Nurse license in Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Additional advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
