Responsibilities- Evaluate new and existing in/out-patients’ wounds and monitor and treat the wound per treatment policies and procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
- Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
- Wound Care certification and experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Indiana RN or LPN Licensure in good standing.
- Wound Care Certification and Experience preferred.
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
