About This Opportunity
The School of Nursing Programs Coordinator provides administrative support to the School's programs, assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation and ensuring program effectiveness and compliance. The Coordinator serves as liaison between faculty, students, and School leadership to support nursing education.

What You'll Do And What You'll BringPosition Function: Provide administrative support to the School of Nursing's programs. Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing programs. The role assists in ensuring program effectiveness and compliance. The Coordinator serves as liaison between faculty, students, and School leadership to support nursing education.
Duties- Communicate CRNs and provide overrides to nursing program students for course registration.
- Assist the Director and Program Directors with graduate verifications for certification, licensure, and employment.
- Assist the Director and Program Directors with verification for graduation.
- Serve as the liaison to the Division of Online and Strategic Learning advisor for Nursing online programs (graduate and RN-to-BS programs). Track student progress and update plans of study in coordination with the online programs' advisor.
- Provide School leadership with projected data and analytics on program and course enrollments to help plan the allocation of resources and distribution of courses, enrollment management, and accreditation and other reporting functions.
- Monitor submission of online program applications on a rolling basis for committee review and to project program enrollment.
- Serve as an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Graduate Admission & Progression, Baccalaureate Curriculum, and Graduate Curriculum Committees.
- Collect and maintain course records (syllabi, calendars, clinical rotations, samples of student work) for School of Nursing programs.
- Maintain and update information in Canvas communities for nursing student.
- Maintain and update student permanent records for all online students and online program graduates.
- Collaborate with School leadership to promote the School's programs through outreach and relationship-building with clinical partners. This may require attending outreach events for promotion and marketing.
- Assist School leadership with planning, coordinating and implementing events for the School of Nursing, including the pinning ceremony, admission and recruitment events, and other School-sponsored activities.
- Supervise student employee(s); coordinate hiring and student schedules, delegate, oversee, and evaluate student employees' work.
- Serve as backup support for other staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education or experience; or an additional two years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of an associate's degree.
- One year of related experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and database software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to learn and use multiple electronic systems.
- Baccalaureate degree.
