The role supports the activities of the Muncie Arts & Culture Council, including board and committee management, grant administration, program coordination, operations, and administrative support.

• Board and committee management, including meeting notes and presentations.
• Assisting with grants, especially drafting and research.
• Coordinating programs such as Mayor’s Arts Awards, Artist Spotlight, First Thursday, public art, tabling, and outreach.
• Supporting operations, including research and writing for communications and building management.
• Providing general administrative support, e.g., file management.

• Students with office experience.
• Interest in arts and culture preferred.
• Background check required.
