DAZN is looking for a Senior Business Planning Manager Central EU within DAZN Media, the leading sports ad sales house in DACH and Belgium and a growing business in France.
This role sits at the intersection of finance and sales and covers all data-related topics throughout the media sales process. You will work closely with all unit leaders to create and track macro business cases, benchmark DAZN’s performance against the market, and collaborate with the rights team to evaluate TV/Media rights acquisitions.
This role is based in Munich.

What You’ll Be Doing- Strategy & Planning: Combine internal data and external market benchmarks to identify opportunities to optimize our commercial strategy.
- Revenue Management: Maintain an overview of all revenue streams, track performance against the business plan, and identify potential areas for growth.
- KPI Reporting: Monitor relevant campaigns and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while highlighting key learnings and insights that drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Sales VPs and senior management and collaborate frequently with the finance, rights, and marketing teams. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on business performance and strategic direction.
- Process Optimization: Review and improve existing workflows and develop new processes where needed. Effective communication across multiple business touchpoints will be crucial.
- Multinational Coordination: Operate across several Central European markets, applying learnings and best practices to support growth across the region.
- Team Leadership: Help build a team and culture that reflects our ambitions. Ensure clarity of direction, drive motivation, and foster a high-performance mindset.
- Degree in economics, finance, business administration, or similar
- 3-5 years’ experience (or more) working in or with the wider media/marketing industry
- In-depth expertise of Excel and other data processing software
- Analytical skills and experience in working with large data sets
- Good knowledge of digital marketing KPIs
- Highly motivation to reach the teams’ goals, strong focus on results, ability to work independently on individual projects
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English and German, both verbal and written
