RoleSummary:
As an Account Director at GTT, you will drive strategic growth across a portfolio of multinational enterprise customers. The focus is on deepening relationships, delivering value through GTT’s Envision platform and secure cloud networking solutions. You will identify complex business challenges, translate them into tailored network, security and cloud solutions and lead engagements through the entire sales cycle to successful closure.
JobScope/Supervision:
This role interacts with Solutions, Customer Success, Service Management, Project Management as well as others. This role will report into the VP, Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:Account Growth and Client Partnership
- Strengthen executive relationships within existing enterprise accounts, uncovering operational, security and cloud‑networking challenges where GTT can add value.
- Position GTT as a strategic partner by aligning client objectives with GTT Envision capabilities, including secure cloud networking, global backbone connectivity and virtualised edge services.
- Proactively mitigate churn risk through early identification of service gaps and by driving improved customer experience, supporting GTT’s continued achievements versus churn targets.
Consultative Solution Selling
- Lead discovery sessions with C‑level and senior technical stakeholders to map requirements across connectivity, security, cloud access, distributed networking and managed services.
- Sell the full GTT portfolio including SD‑WAN, SASE, security as a service, connectivity, DIA, managed network services and virtualised edge functions delivered via Envision
EDGE. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with solution architects, product experts and service teams to create compelling solution designs.
Sales Execution and Performance
- Own opportunities from qualification to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline management and high‑quality deal execution.
- Deliver executive‑ready presentations, business cases and proposals that articulate measurable value, risk reduction and ROI.
- Contribute to sustained improvements in funnel quality, enhanced sales mix and new logo wins in line with GTT’s performance targets.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10+ years of enterprise sales experience within telecoms, networking, cloud or cybersecurity.
