Engineering Manager, Python​/TypeScript; m​/f​/d

Your mission

• You lead one of our engineering teams, developing software that improves our customers' daily productivity

• With your team, you plan, architect & develop applications within the team’s tech stack, which includes Python, Rest API, Mongo
  
  DB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/Git Lab, Flask, React and Node.js in Type Script, running on AWS

• You work closely with Product Owners, Designers & the team’s Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight our customers

• You collaborate closely with fellow Engineering Managers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions on the team and on the cross-team level, ensuring the overall excellence of our software platform

• You think outside the box and bring your ideas to improve our product or increase our developer experience to the table

• You are experienced in people leadership and in team management as a “playing coach” in a software engineering team

• You are very hands‑on with coding, too, and feel equally at home in the backend as well as on the frontend, with experience in both areas, whether it's complex architectures or the design of single-page applications

• You know the ins & outs of Python, and have a good idea about Type Script, Node.js, and React

• You are a power user of AI‑based tools (ideally, have experience with Git Hub Copilot), and you know how to boost your and your team’s productivity with them safely and responsibly

• You know how to use LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer value

• You have working experience with building cloud applications on AWS

• You write well‑structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check

• You have excellent analytical & problem‑solving skills and a solution‑oriented & KPI‑driven working style

• You are a strong communicator, and your English is at a very good level (>
  
  C1)
