Python Tester

Currently our customer, who works in the Electronics Manufacturing industry is looking for an embedded Python Tester

The role is under Arbeitnehmeruberlassung (ANU) for 18 months initially and will require 2-3 days per week in the office

JD is below

• Definition and creation of software tests in Python for embedded devices, as well as integration into the CI environment.
• Development and maintenance of the test framework and test infrastructure.
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for software quality.
• Collaboration in an agile development team.
• Coordination with software development and other development teams (firmware, hardware).
• Integration of software modules into devices.
• Execution of software tests and functional tests on the device.
• Verification of software through measurements on the hardware.
• Support for the integration of devices into the overall system.

• University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Computer Science.
• In-depth knowledge of Python and software quality assurance.
• Advanced knowledge of software development with a focus on test and integration.
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols and object-oriented software development.
• Knowledge of software configuration management systems (preferably Git).
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and digital circuit technology.
• Knowledge of C# is desirable.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux and systemd/dbus is an advantage.
• Experience in the safety/security environment is desirable.
