Your reach will be the entire Holidu Group with currently 700+ employees, but your home will be with the Finance department, which consists of 30+ colleagues. We are passionate about working hard towards our goals, but we also know how to have fun and enjoy time together outside the office with our regular team events.

You will collaborate closely with the entire Legal team and work hand in hand with our Head of Legal on key matters. At Holidu, Legal is all about teamwork: we support each other, share knowledge, and celebrate successes together.

As part of our team, you will take ownership of a broad range of legal matters – from compliance and data privacy to contract management and legal operations. Instead of observing processes, you will independently handle assigned projects, provide sound legal guidance, and shape solutions that support a fast-growing international business. • Provide business-focused legal advice and expertise on contract and commercial law, civil law, data protection law, corporate law and IT law.

• Conduct legal analyses.

• Review and draft contracts as well as terms and conditions.

• Review and keep our websites up to date.

• Work closely with business leaders to understand and develop legal strategies.

• Draft and develop internal policies and templates.

• Monitor and keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments impacting Holidu's business.

• Manage relationships with external legal counsels and lawyers.

• Help strike the right balance in a start-up environment between entrepreneurial risk-taking vs. protecting our people & assets.

• Fully qualified lawyer with good academic qualification from German jurisdiction, German law graduate (First State Examination) or a Master of Laws.

• 4+ years post-qualification legal experience with an international law firm or in-house experience.

• Expertise in commercial and contract law, civil and data protection law. Experience in corporate law and IT law is a plus.

• Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to businesses.

• Strong commercial background and business acumen.

• Excellent communication skills, in English and German, including the ability to draft and negotiate contracts.

• Willingness to embrace risk-taking and to act in an entrepreneurial manner to mitigate risks.

• Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to quickly learn and understand new systems and processes.

• Ability to apply rules to real-life situations and processes in a fast-growing start-up environment.

• Proven ability to face potential conflict situations in a professional, empathetic yet winning manner.
