Sr. HR Business Partner, PXT Customer Service, EU CS PXT; HR

Overview

The role involves collaborating with senior leaders to develop and execute PXT strategy and activities to foster growth, innovation and organizational effectiveness. You will translate business priorities into an HR agenda and goals, assess HR needs for physical and virtual customer services sites across Germany, and drive solutions in staffing, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development. You will design, build and implement programs, processes and tools to help new managers and employees thrive in Amazon's customer-centric environment.

This position is strategic and hands-on, providing full cycle HR support, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement, and acting as a people manager to attract, engage, motivate and retain high-performing talent while achieving site-specific people goals.

• Work with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
• Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.
• Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
• Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues.
• Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, ensuring a balance in representing all interests.
• Implement/administer/interpret corporate policies, programs and procedures.
• Plan and provide continuous improvement to all aspects of the client organization and leadership review process and the strategic objectives therein, including annual and mid-year performance management and talent development.
• Collaborate with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative employee engagement solutions within the client group.
• Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on HR-related matters, policies and procedures.
• Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, creation of new job families, promotions and job re-leveling.

• Experience as a human resources generalist.
• Fluent in German (read, write, and speak).
• Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
• Experience supporting hourly employee client groups.
• Experience with MS Office tools and HR information systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of human resource theory, functions and practice, performance appraisal systems and staff development.
• Experience working with German Works Councils.
• Experience with local labor law.

• Master's degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience developing and administering HR compensation plans.
