Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) as one of A&M’s core competencies advise clients in improving profitability targets and leading clients out of strategic and operational crisis situations in a sustainable manner. In the process, our short-term focus is always on restoring the financial and operational performance of the companies. As part of the CTS team, you support clients in various industries e.g.
Consumer and Retail from the upper medium-sized businesses and international corporations.

A&M’s Consumer and Retail Group (CRG) helps to improve operating results, drive large-scale transformations and assist during M&A/carve-out activities. We bring a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value. Our professionals within CRG promote the development of deep functional skills to maximize our ability to tailor solutions to solve our clients' business issues.

CRG engagements range from holistic cross-functional transformations, functional performance improvement, interim management and M&A assistance with a clear focus on quickly identifying high impact opportunities for EBITDA expansion and drive shareholder/company value.

As a Director (m/f/d) – Fashion, Sporting Goods & Luxury, you will take an active, hands-on role in driving transformation and performance improvement projects within the Consumer and Retail Group
. Supported by our European Corporate Transformation Services team, you will:

• Deliver international transformation, turnaround and performance improvement projects from initial assessment to full execution, with a strong presence to ensure effective implementation

• Partner with client leadership (CEOs, Boards, and management teams) to define priorities and drive company-wide efficiency enhancements

• Translate strategy into actionable, results-oriented solutions, ensuring that recommendations are pragmatic and achievable

• Drive top- and bottom-line impact, addressing critical business challenges and delivering sustainable results

• Contribute to thought leadership and the development of the practice by raising the profile and reputation of CRG with Clients and internally across other teams

• An excellent university degree and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a global top-tier consulting firm and leadership role in corporate settings

• Proven track record in leading transformation and performance improvement, initiatives within Fashion, Luxury, Sportswear & Athleisure, or related fields of the Consumer and Retail Industry

• Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving results, charismatic personality

• Collaborative, and confident working style, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace

• Trusted advisor with a hands-on mindset, able to build credibility quickly and operate effectively across senior client stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and diverse cultural environments

• Native or business fluent in German and English, proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable
