Process Engineer - Early Development; f​/m​/d

As a Process Engineer - Early Development you will evaluate the technical feasibility of innovative product ideas in the food tech sector, develop early-stage process concepts and generate lab-scale data to lay the foundation for scalable, industry-ready technologies. Furthermore you will adapt our products on needs from product application and production site.

• Design and conduct experiments to identify key process parameters and uncover improvement opportunities
• Explore and evaluate new technologies, machinery, and methods to optimize our production line
• Support early-stage product ideas with technical assessments and feasibility studies
• Develop initial process concepts, including material and parameter studies, to set the stage for scale-up
• Collaborate closely with our flavour and product development teams to ensure smooth transitions from lab to large-scale production
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, quality, and cost to enhance overall performance

• A hands-on, self-driven mindset with a strong technical affinity for lab and processing equipment
• Practical experience working in a lab or pilot-scale environment, ideally in food processing or product development
• Completed vocational training or a degree in food technology, process engineering, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related scientific or engineering discipline
• A precise, organized, and curious approach, paired with a sharp eye for detail and continuous improvement
• A systematic problem-solving mindset, with experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution
• With a proactive attitude, you thrive working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
