Senior IT System Engineer​/Administrator; m​/f​/d

Your tasks

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to join our professional and highly committed Operations team in Munich. You will help us design, build, and operate a reliable and scalable infrastructure that supports our business.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of cloud and on-prem systems
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability for infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Git Ops)
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
• Contribute to the development of a secure, reliable, and scalable platform infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams according to Dev Ops and SRE principles
• Operate and support production environments as part of a rotating 24/7 on-call duty
• Continuously evaluate new technologies, contribute to architecture decisions, and develop technical concepts
• Address audit findings and implement IT security standards

• have a degree in IT or related field and solid professional experience in cloud infrastructure operations and automation.
• have strong knowledge in:
  • Linux/Unix administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux)
  • Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or European providers)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Git)
  • Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Logstash)
  • Networking and security (Firewalls, VPN, routing, system hardening)
  • Scripting and CI/CD tools (Shell, Python, Git Lab CI/CD, Nexus, Maven).
• have experience with high availability architecture and scalable distributed systems.
• are familiar with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• are a strong team player with initiative and have a structured, reliable way of working.
