Join CAELIA Health to transform respiratory care
At CAELIA Health, we are building the data and AI foundation for precision respiratory medicine.
As Chief Data Officer
, you will play a central role in shaping how respiratory data is collected, understood, and turned into real clinical impact for millions of patients.
This is not a “maintenance” role. You will help define what is possible when high-quality sensor data, machine learning, and privacy-first architectures come together in healthcare.
As CDO, you own CAELIA’s data and AI backbone. Your success will be measured by how well our data platform enables better products, better models, and ultimately better outcomes for patients.
You will:
- Build and scale CAELIA’s data & AI platform
- Define and implement the end-to-end data strategy: from data ingestion to model training and deployment
- Turn complex, sensitive respiratory and sensor data into robust, explainable, and clinically meaningful insights
- Enable privacy-preserving learning approaches (e.g. Federated Learning) across partners and studies
- Work closely with hardware, software, and clinical teams to bring models into real-world products
- Ensure interoperability (FHIR / HL7), data quality, and regulatory readiness (GDPR, MDR)
Being successful in this role means building systems that others can trust — clinicians, regulators, partners, and patients alike.
🧠 What You’ll Work On (Responsibilities)- Design and evolve scalable data architectures for medical and sensor data
- Develop ML pipelines and MLOps workflows suitable for regulated environments
- Lead model lifecycle management: validation, monitoring, explainability, and iteration
- Establish data governance, security, and privacy-by-design principles
- Collaborate on clinical studies, pilots, and real-world evidence generation
- Translate product and clinical questions into data and model requirements
- Strong background in Data Engineering, Machine Learning
, and applied AI with hands‑on approach - Experience working with sensitive data (health, medical devices, IoT, research, or similar domains) is a plus
- Solid understanding of cloud architectures and ML-Ops (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving or distributed learning approaches (e.g. Federated Learning)
- Comfort operating in regulated or safety‑critical environments
- Clear communicator who enjoys working across disciplines
- Product-driven, pragmatic, and curious — someone who likes to build, test, and learn
Formal leadership titles or years are not the focus. We value capability, mindset, and growth potential
.
- You shape a core pillar of the company from an early stage
- You work with a strong founding team across product, sensors, and clinical operations
- You help define the future of data-driven respiratory care — not just another dashboard
