Senior Investment Associate​/Manager

My team is collaborating with a leading investment fund headquartered in Germany, which is growing its investment team and recruiting talent at the Investment Associate, Senior Associate, and Investment Manager levels. The position is located in Munich and focuses on direct investments across various sectors in the DACH area and throughout Europe.

• Deal Sourcing
  :
  Actively source and cultivate relationships with prospective investment targets in the DACH region and Europe, using proprietary networks and external sources.
• Due Diligence
  :
  Conduct comprehensive financial, commercial, and operational analysis on potential deals, covering market analysis, competitive landscapes, and risk evaluation.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation
  :
  Develop and update robust financial models (including DCF, LBO, and comparable valuations) to inform investment theses and track portfolio performance.
• Deal Execution
  :
  Contribute directly to all stages of transactions, from structuring and negotiations to managing interactions with legal, tax, and advisory teams.
• Portfolio Management
  :
  Partner with portfolio company leadership post-investment to implement operational enhancements and deliver value-creation strategies.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
• Proven track record in private equity, investment banking, or comparable deal-oriented roles.
• Advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with proficiency in collaborative team environments and external partnerships.
• Fluency in English required;
  German is advantageous but not mandatory for all positions.
