Senior Accountant

To support our Accounting team we are searching for a Senior Accountant (f / m / d) to be based in our Munich office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitoring of end-to-end processes in the accounts payable area of the group
• Ensuring proper periodic accounting as well as the quality and reliability of P&L and balance sheet positions
• Taking on project responsibility for the further development and optimization of ongoing accounting processes (interfaces)
• Assessing accounting and tax-related issues, business transactions, and matters
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Collaborating with auditors and tax advisors

Completed commercial training, preferably with further qualification as a certified accountant / tax specialist or a degree, along with relevant professional experience in accounts payable accounting (at least 3+ years)

• Knowledge of HGB and German tax laws
• Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with DATEV or similar finance and accounting software is a strong plus
• Quick comprehension and strong process understanding, combined with a careful, independent, and structured working style
• Very good German skills and good English skills
