Agency Director

The Director – Operations role is responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end shipping and logistics operations across multiple locations, ensuring seamless execution, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and commercial efficiency. The position focuses on driving performance across vessel, port, inland logistics, and container operations while optimizing costs and strengthening stakeholder relationships.

Looking for:
Master Mariner or Chief Officer  with strong commercial and operational acumen.
20–25 years of shipping industry experience, including senior leadership exposure.
Extensive experience in end-to-end shipping and logistics operations including inland logistics, CFS, ICD, and depots.
Strong expertise in vessel and port operations, container and equipment management, and regulatory compliance.
Proven capability in cost optimization, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibility:
Lead and manage overall shipping & logistics operations across ports, ICDs, CFS, and depots, ensuring smooth coordination and continuous improvement.
Oversee vessel and port operations including berthing, cargo operations, stowage planning, productivity monitoring, and safety compliance.
Manage container and equipment operations, ensuring availability, maintenance control, and optimization of detention and demurrage costs.
Supervise inland logistics and container movement, including trucking, inventory control, procurement, and cost monitoring.
Drive cost optimization initiatives across vessel, port, and inland operations while monitoring budgets and financial targets.
Develop and mentor operations teams across multiple locations, aligning performance with KPIs and strengthening leadership capabilities.
