Bachelors and masters in environmental management/masters in ecology or ornithology
- NOTE:
Fluency in English is required with reading and writing of Marathi language
- Description
- The candidate should have Bachelors and masters in environmental management or related field, with at-least 05 years of relevant experience.
- He/She should have experience in environment training and capacity development along with experience of environment supervision of MDB funded projects in a range of countries including those with mature environmental assessment and management enforcement practices and South Asia, ideally India, and in Maharashtra.
- - The candidate should have masters in ecology / ornithology or related field with at-least 5 years of relevant experience in ecological site supervision, conducting ecological (avifaunal species, habitats, faunal species) survey and assessment in power sector projects including solar power plants, power lines etc.
- He/She should have experience of undertaking ecological survey work with GIS and spatial analysis with demonstrated experience of using GIS software (eg. ArcGIS Pro or QGIS) for spatial data analysis (spatial intersections, buffer analysis, overlay analysis, and other geoprocessing tasks), mapping, visualization and geoprocessing tasks. Preferably Having hardware with 16 GB RAM to process the ecology data in GIS format.
