Role Description
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service. Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces that meet their needs and preferences. Provide detailed information about products, including materials, pricing, and craftsmanship. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently. Follow up with customer for conversion. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Head. Promote and upsell products to maximize sales.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Participate in sales events, promotions, and marketing activities. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing. Arrange and display jewelry items according to company guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager. Assist in the setup and dismantling of visual displays and promotions, shows, & Events.
Stay informed about new products, collections, and industry trends. Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Share product information and updates with customers and team members. Assist in opening and closing the store, including cash handling and reconciliation. Support the Store Manager in administrative tasks, such as stocktaking and record-keeping. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve store performance. Assist in training new employees as needed. Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies. Proficiency in handling sales transactions and achieving sales targets. In-depth understanding of jewelry products, including materials, craftsmanship, and care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Experience in managing stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and reporting discrepancies. Ability to organize and display products effectively. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
