Job Title - Continental Commi Chef

Salary - 13k - 24k

Location - Bangalore

Role Description
A Continental Commi is an entry-to-mid-level chef in the kitchen whose main responsibility is to assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Continental (European) dishes under the direction of senior chefs.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Assist in preparing and cooking a wide range of continental dishes (e.g., sauces, soups, salads, pasta, grills) according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
✅ Prepare mise-en-place — washing, chopping, portioning, marinating ingredients, and prepping station.
✅ Ensure food presentation, taste, and consistency meet kitchen standards.
✅ Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety (following food safety/SAN standards).
✅ Support senior chefs and Sous Chef with daily kitchen tasks and service needs.
✅ Monitor and manage stock levels, notify chefs of shortages, and assist with ingredient storage and rotation.
✅ Follow instructions on portion control, plating, and timing to ensure smooth service.
✅ Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils.
