Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an R&D Chef located in Mumbai. The R&D Chef will be responsible for creating, developing, and testing new food products and recipes. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research on ingredients and food trends, analyzing recipes, and ensuring the quality of new product developments. The role also involves collaborating with the culinary and production teams and documenting processes and findings systematically.
Qualifications
- Strong Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills to develop innovative recipes and products
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Laboratory Skills for testing, quality control, and refining recipes
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes
- Proven culinary expertise with a creative approach to food preparation and product development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the food production, hospitality, or R&D industry is an advantage
