Site Manager - Cast Services

Position: Site Manager - Cast House Services
Responsibilities

Following and ensure the team (Calderys and contractor) follows all safety rules of Calderys
Day to day Planning and execution of cast house runner management related jobs. Maintaining Shift logbook, Thermo Couple logbook, Safety documents etc.
Responsible for the analysis of Thermo Couple trends and its behavior to have a better reliability of the runners.
Maintaining good housekeeping of the site. Ensure to exceed the expectations of the customer.
Maintained all safety and runner maintenance/repair related documents and reports as per SOP.
Proper execution of major/minor repair planning and ensure the performance of the runners by vigilant monitoring up to the targeted campaign life and beyond.
Sharing of information and techniques with fellow supervisors and works to implement the best practices at site and also good practices followed at other sites.
Optimum use of the available resources (manpower, machineries, material etc) and have a vital role in reducing the downtime of the runners.
Managing the contract workmen and training them on a regular basis to achieve the set goals.
To build relationships with the customer site team in such a way that Calderys brand image becomes much sought after.
Submitting monthly performance reports to customer and HO
Ensuring sp consumption is within the PO limits and try for exceed expectation results at customer site.
Ensuring ZERO break-out on any runner. Suggesting improvement plan for the betterment of the runner performance.
Initiate and implement various safety initiatives every month and report the same to customer, HO.
Ensuring reward and recognition campaigns are being done at site from time to time as per the schedule.
Motivate rest of the team members and lead with example

Skills & Competencies

5 to 10 years of experience with Degree/ Diploma in Ceramic/Metallurgy/Mechanical
Contractor team Management
Prior experience in runner management & exposure in large steel plant for refractory marketing
