Description
Role Overview :
The Production Intern will work closely with the production team to understand and support day-to-day manufacturing operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to food processing, batch manufacturing, production planning, Packaging, SOP adherence, yield control, and shop-floor discipline
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Assist in monitoring daily production activities and process flow.
Observe and support batch-wise manufacturing as per production plans and SOPs.
Ensure correct usage of raw materials as per batch formulation.
Process & Efficiency
Help record production data such as batch size, output, downtime, wastage, and yield.
Support identification of process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Assist in basic production planning and coordination activities.
Safety & SOP Compliance
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
Support implementation of food safety and personal safety practices during production.
Coordinate with the quality team to resolve process deviations.
Equipment & Housekeeping
Assist in monitoring machine operations and cleaning activities.
Support proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the production area.
Observe preventive maintenance activities under supervision.
Eligibility
– Students or fresh graduates in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or related disciplines.
– Willingness to work in a manufacturing and shop-floor environment.
Internship Benefits
