Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mumbai for a Supply Chain Manager specializing in Disposable Gloves. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in manufacturing coordination, product engineering, quality control, regulatory compliance, and supplier management , specifically within the medical grade & food grade gloves industries. This role requires close collaboration with manufacturers, quality teams, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent product quality, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted supply.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with manufacturing partners on production planning, capacity forecasting, and order scheduling.
Monitor raw material availability (nitrile butadiene rubber, chemicals, packaging) and mitigate supply risks.
Oversee tooling, formulation consistency, and production process controls relevant to glove manufacturing.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
Establish and manage quality assurance and quality control processes across suppliers.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including but not limited to: FDA (510(k) where applicable), ASTM standards (e.g., ASTM D6319, ASTM D6978), ISO 13485 / ISO 9001, EN standards (for international markets), Food contact compliance (FDA, EU food-grade requirements)
Review and approve COAs, test reports, inspection reports, and batch documentation.
Coordinate third-party inspections, audits, and lab testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Materials Engineering is required .
5+ years of supply chain experience , with direct experience in disposable nitrile gloves, medical consumables, or PPE manufacturing
