Role & Responsibilities

New Product Development (NPD):

Drive the development of innovative, consumer-centric products from concept to market launch.

Translate market and consumer insights into product concepts and development strategies.

Collaborate with Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to deliver commercially viable solutions.

Lab Prototype Development

Formulate and develop lab-scale prototypes that meet sensory, cost, and functional requirements.

Lead sensory evaluations and iterative refinements based on feedback and performance.

Maintain accurate formulation records, sample logs, and trial documentation.

Scale-Up Trials & Commercialization

Lead pilot plant and commercial scale-up trials, ensuring technical feasibility and product consistency.

Work closely with production teams to validate and standardize processes.

Troubleshoot formulation and processing issues during trials and early production runs.

Other Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all formulations meet applicable food laws, labelling requirements, and company quality standards.

Ingredient & Supplier Management

Identify and qualify new ingredients, technologies, and suppliers in collaboration with the sourcing team.

Technical Documentation

Prepare detailed documentation including product specifications, BOMs, process flow diagrams, and SOPs.

Shelf-Life & Stability Testing

Conduct shelf-life studies and interpret data to ensure product stability and safety.

Cost Optimization

Continuously optimize recipes for cost efficiency without compromising quality or shelf-life.

Mentoring & Guidance

Mentor junior technologists and provide technical training to production and quality teams.

Skills & Competencies

Deep knowledge of frozen snacks and frozen foods manufacturing process and IQF technology.

Excellent formulation and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Passion for food innovation and culinary trends.

Education:

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Any Specialization, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Food Technology
