Role Description
The Category Manager is responsible for driving the P&L of the assigned category by formulating and executing strategic initiatives that strengthen market presence, optimize product portfolios, and meet evolving customer needs. The role ensures sustained category growth through data-driven decision-making, innovation, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Description
Category management & P&L ownership
Market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification
Go‑to‑Market (GTM) planning and channel development
New Product Development (NPD) and product lifecycle management
Pricing strategy & margin management
Strong cross‑functional collaboration (Sales, R&D, Marketing, Ops)
Analytical problem‑solving, data interpretation & decision‑making
Excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management
Project management with strong execution skills
Experience in construction chemicals or building materials (preferred)
