Responsibilities
Serving as the chief advisor to the Board on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Developing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s policies and ensuring they adhere to statutory regulations and corporate governance requirements.
Ensuring compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, RBI, and other applicable regulations for all financial services activities.
Managing the company’s secretarial operations, such as organizing and documenting Board meetings, AGMs, and timely filing of returns.
Developing long-term strategies and ensuring alignment with the company's business priorities.
Identifying risks and guiding the organization on regulatory and compliance matters.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, board members, and internal departments.
Leading and mentoring a high-performing secretarial and legal team.
Requirements
A minimum of 12+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial roles, preferably in the financial services sector.
Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with a membership from the ICSI.
In-depth knowledge of SEBI guidelines, Companies Act, RBI regulations, and other corporate laws.
Proven track record in handling Board and Committee meetings, corporate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
A high level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
