Starcast is a boutique talent management agency evolving into a next-generation talent management platform for actors, models and creators.
The founder has over two decades of industry experience in acting as well as talent management, with exceptionally strong industry networks among the primary & lead actors of today, as well as key networks with personnel across casting, production and studio/OTT platforms.
We’re looking for a Talent Manager to lead our roster of Primary Actors- someone who has the maturity and skill to manage relationships with quality “OTT” actors end-to-end, as well as the network and resources to grow the roster to the next level.
This hire will likely grow into a team-leadership role as the roster and business scale, and enjoy rewarding growth incentives.
This role is for you if:
• You have handled actors end-to-end (or have worked very closely with actor representation)
• You are comfortable negotiating with OTT platforms, studios, producers, casting heads
• You can read, understand, and discuss contracts with confidence
• You have presence, maturity, and the ability to represent talent at the highest level
What you’ll do (current scope):
• Manage a primary-tier actor roster end-to-end
(negotiations, contracts, coordination, problem-solving)
• Actively contribute to roster growth through existing industry relationships
• Confidently handle conversations with senior / primary / lead actors, as well as OTT/ production/casting reps
• Be a dependable point of contact for actors and talent seekers
What this role grows into:
• Working closely with the Founder on building teams and mentoring new hires as the talent roster expands
• Playing a strategic role in defining agency systems and workflows for long-term growth
• Participate in shaping how talent management evolves on a tech platform
Ideal profile:
• Experience in end to end actor talent management (or closely related roles)
• Strong spoken and written communication skills, in English & Hindi.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a pleasant & professional presence
• Comfort with contracts and sensitive, confidential conversations
• Ambition to grow with the agency, not just manage a desk
