Vice President – Institutional Sales.

Role Overview
The Vice President will be responsible for driving regional business growth, while leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Relationship Managers. The role will own strategic institutional nationaldistributor relationships, oversee client / partner acquisition and retention, and ensure consistent execution of the firm's sales strategy.
This position requires strong leadership capability, deep understanding of capital markets, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on market engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Build and deepen relationships with institutional Wealth Managers.
Own and drive PMS and AIF business growth in Mumbai from Institutional Partners.
Define and execute sales strategies aligned with the firm's overall growth objectives.
Identify high-potential partners, and strategic distribution opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Relationship Managers, ensuring consistent performance and high-quality client engagement.
Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
· Serve as the primary senior liaison for large institutional partners, acting as the designated point of contact for Relationship Managers and Product teams to deepen strategic, long‑term partnerships.
Conduct high-level client meetings, partner reviews, and investment discussions.
Represent the firm at industry forums, partner events, and investor interactions.
Ensure strict adherence to SEBI regulations, internal compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Holds a postgraduate degree in relevant field.
15 years+ of experience in investment product distribution (PMS / AIF / Wealth Management).
Proven track record of managing regions and leading sales teams.
Strong understanding of capital markets, portfolio strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel across regions.
Prior experience in managing discussions with institutional product teams.
