Job Description

The candidate must possess knowledge relevant to the functional area, and act as a subject matter expert in providing advice in the area of expertise, and also focus on continuous improvement for maximum efficiency. Communication skills are key here, to explain organizational objectives, assignments, and the big picture to the team, and to articulate team vision and clear objectives.

Associate Program Manager role and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing, supervising, facilitating, guiding, monitoring and controlling the entire Payroll process
Payroll inputs collation – communicate with all internal teams to ensure accurate reports are send to Payroll vendor
coordination with vendor team to reconcile the payroll output
To ensure correct Full and final salary processing for all exit employees
Partner with IT to optimize system functionality and exploit opportunities for automation;
Oversee Leave and Attendance Management/Time keeping
Partner with Human Resources to facilitate the accurate and timely processing of leaves of absence as well as changes to employee benefits;
Oversee the preparation of all payroll related reports, including governmental and regulatory filings;
To be aware of Apprentice program and drive this for the company –registration , claim process etc.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory and tax audit requirements to meet statutory and internal deadlines. Ensuring all returns on Income tax and stat are filed on time
Ensure all the current process are compliant as per latest stat and government laws.
To be updated with any development in stat/government laws and implement the changes as required
Liaise with Finance teams and send all data required by the company finance team on Payroll and stat requirement
Will be the single POC for providing updates to Senior management on Payroll and stat requirments
To Monitor employee queries on Payroll and Stat (like PF, ESIC etc.) and ensure that all queries are promptly and appropriately resolved within SLA
Liaise with external auditors and manage payroll related audit;
Will be leading all internal and external audits on Payroll and Stat compliance and need to ensure there are no audit findings
Oversee all aspects of payroll management including routine payroll processing, tax and benefits compliance and reporting
Monitor compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations;
Analyze payroll processes and controls, identify efficiencies, drive change, and manage priorities.

Technical and Functional

Skills:

Any graduate with 10+ years of experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Current knowledge of applicable federal and state wage and hour laws and taxation;
Knowledge of taxable and non-taxable earnings and expenses;
Demonstrated knowledge of payroll trends and service delivery models;
Strong Excel, math and general technical savviness;
Strong analytical abilities
Knowledgeable in payroll tax laws, PF and complex employee benefit programs impacting payroll.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
