Job Role:
Legal Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations.
Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements with
suppliers, distributors, customers, and other stakeholders.
Intellectual Property Protection: Oversee the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
Regulatory Affairs: Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and changes in the industry. Advise the management team on new regulations and develop strategies to ensure compliance.
Legal
Risk Management:
Identify and assess legal risks associated with the company's operations, business transactions, and strategic initiatives. Implement risk mitigation measures and provide recommendations to senior management.
Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles and practices. Advise the board of directors on legal matters and assist in the preparation of board meeting materials.
Settlement Negotiation: Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all matters, including case files, correspondence, and legal research.
Representation: Representing the Company before courts as and when required and to file petitions etc.
Qualification:
LLM would add advantage
Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good analytical and drafting skills, organized and committed to deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience, with keen ability to evaluate all legal implications with a focus on solutions and results.
- Robust personality with high levels of energy and drive.
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks, prioritize tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
