Senior Quality Analyst

Job Scope:
As the QA & Testing Lead, you will own end-to-end quality strategy and execution across all platforms. This role goes beyond traditional QA. You will define quality standards for AI powered workflows, ensure high test coverage across UI, API, and system layers, and build a strong automation-first QA culture. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Dev Ops, and AI/ML teams to ensure releases are stable, predictable, and production-ready.

8–15 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and testing, including leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Quality Strategy & Execution

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy for Yotta's AI platforms, covering UI, API, performance, and security testing.

• Establish quality gates across the SDLC for new features, integrations, and releases.

• Create and enforce test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements.

B. Automation & Tooling

• Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for frontend (Cypress, Playwright), backend (Postman, REST Assured), and data pipelines.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with Dev Ops.

• Own test coverage reporting and regression analysis.
C. AI-Specific & System Testing

• Define strategies to test AI-integrated features (e.g., model response validation, semantic search, smart block recommendations).

• Validate performance under different model loads, GPU inference latencies, and real-time workflows.

• Collaborate with the AI/ML team to build test harnesses for LLM endpoints and agent outputs.
D. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor a growing team of QA engineers (manual + automation).

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and UX to drive bug resolution, release quality, and testable designs.

• Establish a feedback loop from QA to dev, including issue triaging and RCA practices.
E. Documentation & Governance

• Maintain up-to-date QA documentation, SOPs, and test run logs.

• Drive release readiness and sign-offs for weekly/monthly sprints.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2) for data and interface validation.

Qualification Criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 8 plus years of hands-on QA experience with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or test architect role.

• Proven experience implementing automation frameworks and leading testing efforts in agile teams.

• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of security testing tools or practices.

• Experience working in SaaS, AI/ML, or complex frontend-backend integrated systems is a major plus.
