Position Overview
As a  Manager – Marketplaces , you will own the end-to-end marketplace growth charter for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and strategic expansion across Amazon and other marketplaces, while leading a team of specialists.
You will work closely with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to define growth strategies, scale performance, and build best-in-class marketplace practices.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Performance Ownership
Own revenue, growth, and profitability for a portfolio of marketplace clients across Amazon, Flipkart, and quick commerce platforms
Lead performance strategy across Sponsored Ads, DSP, and platform-native growth levers
Drive advanced optimization across bids, budgets, placements, and audience targeting
Establish benchmarks for KPIs such as ROAS, ACoS, CTR, CVR, and ensure consistent out performance
Identify and unlock new revenue streams including assortment expansion, new category launches, and platform opportunities

Strategic Account Leadership
Act as the strategic partner and primary escalation point for key client accounts
Lead quarterly and annual planning, including budget allocation, forecasting, and growth roadmaps
Drive high-quality business reviews with senior stakeholders, presenting insights, opportunities, and long-term strategies
Influence client decisions through strong data-backed recommendations and marketplace expertise

Data, Insights & Decision-Making
Build and standardize advanced dashboards and reporting frameworks for performance tracking across accounts

Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business impact

Lead competitive intelligence across pricing, content, and ad strategies to inform growth decisions

Identify patterns, trends, and white spaces to drive scalable solutions across multiple accounts

Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Specialists and Specialists
Drive team performance through structured goal setting, regular reviews, and feedback
Ensure high standards of campaign execution, reporting, and process adherence
Build capability within the team across tools, platforms, and strategic thinking
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with content, design, analytics, and tech teams to deliver integrated marketplace strategies
Work closely with leadership on defining best practices and scaling marketplace verticals
Ensure alignment between performance marketing, content, and business strategy for maximum impact

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

4–6 years of hands-on experience in marketplace performance marketing, primarily on Amazon
Proven experience managing multiple accounts and leading teams in an agency environment

Experience with Flipkart and/or quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart) is strongly preferred

Skills:

Strong analytical and strategic thinking with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets and marketplace dashboards
Deep understanding of marketplace algorithms, ad formats, and listing optimization
Ability to drive business outcomes through data-led decision-making
Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
Familiarity with tools such as Helium
10, Data Hawk, or similar

Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom in (execution) and zoom out (business impact)
Strong people leader who can build and scale high-performing teams
