Role Process Lead-SEO
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and content
opportunities.
Stay updated with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes to adjust strategies
accordingly.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance
evaluations.
Allocate tasks and projects effectively, ensuring the team's workload is balanced and goals are met.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage knowledge sharing and
continuous improvement.
On-Page & Technical SEO:
Optimize website content, metadata, headings, and internal linking structures for improved search
visibility.
Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO enhancements, including site speed
optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
Off – Page Seo:
Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies such as link building, influencer outreach, and partnerships
to build a strong backlink profile.
Monitor and manage the quality of external links pointing to the website.
Content Strategy:
Work with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that addresses user intent and aligns with keyword strategies.
Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and optimized for search engines.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Utilize SEO tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, such as organic traffic, rankings,
click-through rates, and conversion rates.
Prepare regular reports on SEO performance and present findings to stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, web development, and design, to
implement SEO recommendations and improvements.
Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients on project progress and results.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address SEO challenges, such as ranking fluctuations, penalties, or technical issues, in a
timely manner.
Propose and implement solutions to improve search visibility and user experience.
Qualification & Requirement:
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
● Proven experience in SEO with a track record of successful strategy development and
implementation.
● Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
● Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search
Console, SEMrush, Moz).
● Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
● Up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in the SEO landscape.
Technical
Skills:
On-Page SEO:
Keyword Research:
The ability to conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and
high-volume keywords that align with user intent.
Content Optimization:
Skill in optimizing website content, including headings, titles, meta
descriptions, and body content, for target keywords and user engagement.
HTML and Semantic Markup:
Knowledge of HTML and its tags to effectively structure content for
search engines, as well as the use of semantic markup like schema.org for enhancing search results
with rich snippets.
User Experience (UX):
Understanding how user experience impacts SEO and making sure that
content is easily readable, scannable, and offers value to the audience.
Internal Linking:
The ability to create a well-organized internal linking structure to distribute link
equity and guide users through the website.
Off-Page SEO:
Link Building:
Skill in acquiring high-quality, relevant, and authoritative backlinks through various
ethical techniques such as guest posting, influencer outreach, and content promotion.
Relationship Building:
The ability to establish and nurture relationships with industry influencers,
bloggers, and webmasters for link-building opportunities.
Social Media Engagement:
Understanding how social media platforms can contribute to off-page
SEO through sharing content, building brand visibility, and generating social signals.
