We are looking for a skilled System Administrator (L2) to manage and support production infrastructure for our Mumbai operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for production and staging environments.
Manage and maintain Linux-based servers (installation, configuration, patching, monitoring).
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot NGINX web servers and reverse proxy setups .
Support and monitor Java-based applications in production environments.
Analyze logs and troubleshoot performance issues, application crashes, and server downtime.
Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution within SLA timelines.
Manage user access, system security, and server hardening practices.
Work closely with Dev Ops and development teams for deployments and releases.
Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and uptime management.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure and support processes.
Required skills & Qualifications
4–6 years of experience as a System Administrator or L2 Support Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL) administration.
Practical experience in configuring and managing NGINX (load balancing, reverse proxy, SSL setup).
Experience supporting Java applications (Tomcat, JVM tuning, log analysis).
Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewall basics).
Experience in log monitoring tools and troubleshooting production issues.
Knowledge of shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Knowledge of Docker or containerization is a plus.
ITIL certification is an added advantage.
