Role Overview
The E-commerce & Inventory Executive is responsible for   maintaining, updating, and controlling inventory data on the company’s secure B2B website  . This role ensures that product listings, categories, visibility rules, and inventory status are always accurate and aligned with internal records, while strictly protecting client-owned designs and data.
This is a   backend, execution-focused role   that supports operations, sales, and merchandising teams by keeping the website clean, reliable, and error-free.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WEBSITE INVENTORY MAINTENANCE (CORE RESPONSIBILITY)
Maintain product listings on the secure B2B website via software
Ensure accuracy of product data including product codes, descriptions, metal/stone details, and availability status
Update design status on internal confirmations
Remove, archive, or restrict products as instructed by operations or management
Ensure the website always reflects the latest approved inventory information

CLIENT-OWNED DESIGN CONTROL & CONFIDENTIALITY
Manage visibility and access controls for client-exclusive designs
Ensure client-owned products are visible   only   to authorized users
Maintain clear records of client-specific products and access rules

CATEGORY & STRUCTURE EXECUTION
Assign products to predefined categories and collections as instructed
Update category mappings when products are added, revised, or removed
Maintain logical website structure to support internal navigation and buyer access
Ensure category data remains clean, consistent, and up to date

WEBSITE UPDATES & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Execute website updates related to new uploads, removals, visibility changes, or corrections
Coordinate with internal teams to implement approved changes on the website
Support website readiness for buyer access, reviews, and sales usage
Flag discrepancies or data issues to the operations or digital head

INVENTORY TRACKING & DATA ACCURACY
Maintain inventory trackers and update logs
Cross-verify website data with internal records when required
Identify mismatches between physical / system inventory and website listings
Escalate errors or inconsistencies immediately

REPORTING & STATUS UPDATES
Prepare regular reports on inventory status, uploads, removals, and updates
Share structured updates with operations and management teams
Maintain clear documentation of work completed and pending actions
Support audits or reviews related to inventory data and access control

PROCESS FOLLOW-UP & DISCIPLINE
Follow defined SOPs for website updates and inventory handling
Maintain task sheets and daily/weekly work logs
Ensure work is completed within assigned timelines
Suggest process improvements to reduce errors or repetition (without changing strategy)
