Role Overview
We are seeking Data Privacy professionals to support and drive the organization’s data protection and privacy compliance initiatives. The role involves implementing privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection regulations, and working closely with business, legal, and technology teams to embed privacy-by-design across operations.
Key Responsibilities (Applicable Across Levels)
Support compliance with data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR, India DPDP Act, CCPA, and other applicable laws
Conduct privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, and gap assessments
Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and data inventories
Support handling of data subject rights requests (DSRs) and privacy incidents/breaches
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating privacy policies, notices, and procedures
Perform third-party/vendor privacy assessments and remediation tracking
Coordinate with IT, Info Sec, Legal, and business stakeholders on privacy initiatives
Support internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries related to data privacy
Track regulatory developments and assess business impact
Level-Wise Roles & Expectations
Consultant (2+ Years)
Execute assigned privacy compliance and assessment activities
Support DPIAs, vendor assessments, and RoPA documentation
Assist with DSR handling and breach investigation support
Prepare reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation
Work under guidance of Senior Consultants/Managers
Key
Skills:
Working knowledge of data protection regulations
Understanding of data flows, systems, and privacy controls
Strong documentation and communication skills
Senior Consultant (3+ Years)
Independently manage privacy compliance work streams
Lead DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, and remediation efforts
Advise business teams on privacy requirements and implementation
Review contracts, DPAs, and data transfer mechanisms
Support privacy awareness and training initiatives
Guide and mentor junior team members
Key
Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with GDPR and DPDP Act compliance
Ability to translate legal/regulatory requirements into technical and operational controls
Stakeholder management and analytical skills
Deputy Manager (4+ Years)
Lead and oversee data privacy programs and projects end-to-end
Act as a strategic advisor to business and leadership on privacy risk
Oversee breach response, regulatory interactions, and audit readiness
Drive privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default initiatives
Review and approve privacy assessments and key deliverables
Support development of privacy governance frameworks, metrics, and reporting
Key
Skills:
Deep understanding of global and Indian data privacy regulations
Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)
CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, DPO Certification
ISO 27701 / ISO 27001 knowledge
Privacy or information security–related certifications
