Associate Principal - SAP

Job Description

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a vital role in driving successful SAP Transportation Management (TM) projects. Your expertise in BOPF and ABAP will be leveraged to design innovative solutions, develop robust systems, and ensure seamless integration with other business processes. Close collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders is essential to understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of SAP TM consultants, providing guidance and support throughout projects.
Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective SAP TM solutions.
Design and develop SAP TM configurations, custom developments, and integrations with other SAP modules.
Ensure the quality and performance of SAP TM solutions through thorough testing and optimization.
Provide functional and technical expertise during all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live and beyond.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Document and maintain project artifacts, ensuring knowledge transfer and knowledge management practices are followed.
Stay updated with the latest SAP TM innovations and industry best practices, and share your expertise with the team.
Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth operations of the SAP TM system.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP TM implementations, with a strong focus on BOPF and ABAP.
Deep understanding of SAP TM functionality and its integration with other SAP modules.
Proven track record of successful SAP TM projects, including solution design, development, and support.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
Proficiency in SAP S/4

HANA and its transportation management capabilities is highly preferred.
Certifications in SAP TM or related SAP modules are an advantage.
Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is desirable.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
