SAP PI​/PO Developer

Develop and maintain SAP PI/PO interfaces for A2A and B2B integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Work on SAP PI 7.5, creating and configuring iFlows, message mappings, and graphical mappings.
Write complex SQL statements to support data transformation and extraction in integration scenarios.
Implement and troubleshoot integration using SOAP, REST, SFTP, RFC, IDOC protocols.
Configure and manage SAP adapters (RFC, IDOC, HTTP, JDBC, SOAP, EMAIL, FILE), including adapter-specific attributes.
Utilize Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) for efficient message processing and routing.
Design and implement Web Services and Enterprise Services in SAP PI/PO.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable integration solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot programs, identify bugs, and resolve performance issues in interfaces.
Prepare technical documentation as per BPCL standards for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
Participate in medium and large-scale integration projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Role Requirements and

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of SAP PI/PO development experience with A2A and B2B integration.
Strong Java programming skills for integration development and issue resolution.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data processing and extraction.
Expertise in SOAP, REST, SFTP, RFC, IDOC communication protocols.
In-depth understanding of SAP adapters (RFC, JDBC, SOAP, etc.) and their configurations.

Experience with AAE for enhanced message routing and processing.
Strong knowledge of Web Services and Enterprise Services within SAP PI/PO.
Ability to convert functional/technical specs into robust integration solutions.
Skilled in debugging integration flows, fixing bugs, and enhancing performance.
Experience in preparing technical documentation as per organizational templates.
Proven track record of working on mid-to-large scale SAP integration projects.
Desirable

Skills:

Familiarity with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Understanding of SAP S/4

HANA integration.
Exposure to Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of data governance and security in integration.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
