Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Experience - 3 + years
Primary Purpose
To oversee and manage the organization's data assets, ensuring their quality, governance, and security, while also extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed business decision-making. This role bridges the technical and analytical aspects of data, ensuring its correct use, governance, and value realization for strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into databases or data warehouses.
Maintain data integrity and ensure high data quality standards.
Work closely with different departments (e.g., finance, marketing, product) for data requirements.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
Implement measures to secure sensitive data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and systems.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Data Quality Management
Expertise in data profiling, validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes.
Experience in managing data across multiple platforms, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
Data Governance & Stewardship
Deep understanding of data governance principles and the ability to implement governance processes in a practical, business-friendly manner.
Experience working with data stewards and defining roles and responsibilities for data ownership and quality management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Hands-on experience with data quality tools and MDM platforms.
Familiarity with data integration tools and methodologies (ETL).
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with different levels of the organization.
