Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with strong exposure to US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The role focuses on insurance follow-ups, denial management, AR aging control, and timely claim resolution to maximize reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid, underpaid, and denied insurance claims

• Work AR aging buckets (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days)

• Analyze EOBs/ERAs and resolve denials (coding, eligibility, authorization, medical necessity, timely filing, etc.)

• Initiate corrections, rebilling, and appeals

• Ensure accurate reimbursement and identify underpayments

• Communicate with insurance payers via calls and portals

• Collaborate with coding, charge entry, and eligibility teams

• Maintain accurate documentation in billing systems

• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in US Healthcare AR / RCM

• Strong knowledge of medical billing workflows

• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes

• Hands-on experience with EOBs, ERAs, and payer portals

• Familiarity with EMRs/Billing systems (eClinical

Works, Athena, Kareo, Next Gen – preferred)

• Good communication and payer calling skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
