The Education & Outreach Officer will play a key role in implementing WWF-India's environmental education and corporate engagement programmes in Maharashtra. The role involves strengthening school and citizen outreach, managing programme delivery, and supporting corporate volunteering and awareness initiatives.

Corporate Engagement & Nature Connect
Conceptualizing and executing Corporate Connect initiatives.
Develop an annual corporate engagement calendar.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate CSR/HR teams.
Manage event logistics, participant communication, and feedback.
Environment Education & Outreach
Support outreach of ongoing programmes:
Vasundhara Mitra, Mangrove Mitra, Nature Connect, People for Planet.
Liaise with schools, educators, volunteers, and NGOs.
Coordinate workshops, eco-trails, webinars, and awareness events.
Monitor programme progress and maintain documentation.
Support training and orientation for educators, master trainers, and volunteers.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
Maintain databases for corporates, schools and volunteers.
Track programme milestones, outputs, and outcomes.
Document case studies, feedback, and best practices.
Master's degree – preferably in Environmental Studies, Education, Social Work, Sustainability, or related field. Applicants from Business / Communications will also be considered.
2 - 3 years' experience in programme coordination/ business development/education/outreach, or CSR/community engagement.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office / Excel / Social Media channels
Collaborative, innovative, adaptable, responsible.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines.
Creativity in developing engagement activities and outreach content.
Willingness to travel across Maharashtra for field events.
Excellent people skills
Increased reach and impact of Environment Education and Corporate Connect programmes.
Established corporate and school partnerships.
High-quality documentation, data reporting, and visibility.
Contribution to WWF India's mission of fostering environmental stewardship.
