Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced academic professional to serve as  Course Coordinator  for the

B.Sc. Data Science program.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing academic delivery, faculty coordination, curriculum quality, student outcomes, and overall program execution.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in running or managing a department, with a strong background in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
Oversee end-to-end academic delivery of the

B.Sc. Data Science program
Ensure syllabus coverage, academic rigor, and quality standards
Coordinate across subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Programming, Machine Learning, and Data Science
Align curriculum with industry relevance and emerging technologies
Faculty Management
Recruit and onboard visiting and full-time faculty
Monitor teaching quality and classroom effectiveness
Conduct faculty reviews and mentoring
Ensure timely completion of lectures, assignments, and assessments
Curriculum & Academic Planning
Lead curriculum design and periodic updates
Introduce practical components, labs, and project-based learning
Ensure integration of coding, statistical tools, and real-world datasets
Coordinate examination processes and evaluation standards
Student Engagement & Outcomes
Monitor student performance and academic progression
Guide final-year projects and capstone work
Support student mentoring and academic advising
Build pathways for internships and industry exposure
Administrative & Institutional Coordination
Work closely with college administration
Maintain academic documentation and compliance standards
Coordinate academic calendars, timetables, and internal reviews
Represent the program in academic and industry forums

Ideal Candidate Profile
Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
8+ years of academic experience, including leadership or departmental management
Prior experience as Program Head, Academic Coordinator, or similar role preferred
Strong teaching experience in quantitative or technical subjects (Statistics, Programming, Machine Learning, Mathematics, etc.)
Ability to manage multidisciplinary academic teams
Strong organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills
